"Yes, Exit and Shutdown" is translated wrong in Japanese

Reported by: anonymous Owned by: Oscar Carlsson
Priority: minor Milestone: unknown
Component: mythtv Version: unknown
Severity: medium Keywords: japanese localization

Description

On mythtv's exit screen, "Yes, Exit and Shutdown" is translated wrong in Japanese. In the English version, it really means 'yes, exit and shut my computer down'. In the Japanese version it just says, 'yes, exit'. I clicked it hoping to exit mythtv, but it shut my computer down.

Here is the exact English strings, followed by the Japanese strings (in romaji), followed by its translation back into English: Do you really want to exit MythTV? honto ni MythTV wo shuuryou shimasuka? Really, you want to exit MythTV?

No iie No

Yes, Exit now hai, imasugu shuuryou shimasu. Yes, exit right away.

Yes, Exit and Shutdown hai, shuuryou shimasu Yes, exit

OK, so what should the last translation say?
Hai, shuuryou shimasu, sokode shattodaun?
Hai, shuuryou shimasu, satesate heisa?
(with apologies to people who can actually speak Japanese, rather than lookup online translation sites)

I just study Japanese as a hobby, but this translation should be good enough: hai, shuuryoushite, shattodaunsuru.

Here it is with Kanji: はい、終了して、シャットダウンする。

Please provide a patch with the correct changes. There are now some more related strings that will need to be translated. Re-open when you have a patch that Oscar can then apply.
