Description

After discussion on #mythtv-users I've put together this patch (my first for mythtv, so go easy on me please!).

In my case I'm using the PrePlaybackCmd? to dim the lights with an X10 dimmer (LD11), and then PostPlaybackCmd? to restore the lights.

It's been mentioned in # that eventually this should become an event-based system so my intention is to get the ball rolling.
