Building on RHEL5 against qt 4.4.3 fails with

This against r22849. r22749 was stull building OK. The version of qt (4.4.3) build successfully on Fedora 10, so it looks like an issue with g++?

Axel, [22749] is an extensive rework of include files. Can you build [22748] on RHEL5 to see if that might be the cause of the error?
