SVN Promote 22881 breaks A/V Sync

Description

Unfortunately, SVN promote 22881 breaks A/V sync for both Live TV and Recordings for me. The problems appear similar to those reported in #7067, video plays back too fast. I'm am using a UK DVB-T source (MPEG2).

I'm afraid not, no.

(In [22895]) Revert r22881 and r22891 until a complete and thoroughly tested fix is available. Closes #7644. Closes #7635.

The patch in #7644 should solve the problem. I created that ticket and attached the patch before r22881 and r22891 were reverted. Can I suggest that r22881,r22891 be re-applied and the patch attached to #7644 also be applied - this has fixed all playback issues for me personally.

Note that #7644 clearly explains the problem and the fix.
